Project: The Schmittenhöhebahn AG has been valueing consistent and contemporary design of their station buildings.
Often respective decisions are highly influenced by the needs of their guests. Sustainability is key, as is using local building materials and integrating the structures naturally into the surrounding landscape. Using photovoltaic modules for the Glocknerbahn was therefore the perfect solution. The building features a wood cover, which was built beforehand and then easily and quickly installed on site.
