One Hudson Yards NYC

Project:
One Hudson Yards, Manhattan
Ventilated glass façades can be applied to buildings of any height. One Hudson Yards is a residential high-rise in Manhattan's luxurious West Chelsea neighborhood. The developers chose this innovative system for its timeless aesthetics and user-friendliness. The rooftop equipment is hidden behind translucent white laminated glass, which is held in place with our patented fastening elements.
Davis Brody Bond Architects designed a custom cladding system. The fastening elements were developed so that the glass could be mounted from the interior. This allowed the panels to be easier to apply from the roof rather than the outside of the building, speeding up the glazing process and simplifying post-installation maintenance.
The ventilated glass façade on the top floor is illuminated at night, creating a striking finish for the building. Additionally, the new façade protects the rooftop utilities from wind and moisture.
