Käthe Kollwitz School Frankfurt
For the renovation of single-field gymnasiums in the city of Frankfurt, a newly developed modular gymnasium system is being applied at the Liebig School.
The modular system, built in a passive house construction style, features a structural grid that creates a visible rhythm, organizing the façades and interior spaces both horizontally and vertically.
The exterior consists of translucent, frosted glass panels with individual aluminum fittings. These fittings have colored backings, adding playful accents that interact with various urban or rural surroundings.
